Missions... are important to College Park Baptist Church -- both giving to missions and doing missions.
We support a wide collection of local, state, national, and international missions projects through direct donations to ministries and through state and national Baptist missions organizations.
The missions project that involves the most church members is our annual Mountain Outreach project, where more than one hundred members of all generations travel to Kentucky to build a house for a needy family. Smaller missions teams traveled to Gulfport, MS to assist in repairing Katrina damage.
Many of our youth and adults travel regularly to Haiti to assist in projects there helping street kids.
Our college
class has a missions
trip each spring to engage in renovation
projects for needy families.
Past international trips include multiple trips to Czechoslovakia, Honduras,
and Haiti.
Our church also engages in local mission projects, including Team In As Much.
