The house is complete, water and power are turned on, and the family is moved in.
Today was the hottest of the week, with a high of 103 degrees. But spirits were high as we neared completion.
We held a dedication service at 6:30 p.m. at the home, included in today's photos.
We thank those who kept us in their prayers, who sent food, who contributed money, who helped load up last Saturday, and helped in so many ways.
We also thank the students of the University of the Cumberlands, who created and sustained the Mountain Outreach project for twenty-eight years. This program has provided better housing for many families in Whitley County. It has also brought College Park Baptist Church closer together. Our relationship with Mountain Outreach was initiated by the youth of our church, and the project has continued as our strongest ministry and best opportunity to build cross-generational bonds with the church.
